Litter Management

Navigate to the Litters section and select "Record Litter". Provide the following details:

• Dam: select the dam from your registered animals, or type the dam's name if she is not on the platform.
• Sire: select the sire from the platform, or type the sire's name if not registered.
• Whelp / Foaling Date: the date the litter was born.
• Litter Size: the total number of offspring born.

After recording the litter, add individual offspring records. Each offspring can be registered as a full animal record on the platform, inheriting the dam and sire link automatically.

For each offspring, provide a name, sex, colour, and any early health notes. Once created, these animal records behave like any other listing and can be managed from My Animals.

Depending on your subscription tier, offspring can be automatically set as active listings when created. Your tier's listing allowance determines how many animals can be listed simultaneously. If the allowance is reached, additional offspring will be saved as drafts until a slot becomes available.

The litter detail page displays a summary including:

• Dam and Sire: with links to their respective animal profiles.
• Whelping / Foaling Date: the recorded birth date.
• Offspring Count: total number of offspring in the litter.
• Allocation Status: how many offspring have been allocated to buyers vs. remaining available.

As offspring are reserved or sold to buyers, mark each one as allocated from the litter management page. This provides an at-a-glance view of availability and helps you manage enquiries efficiently.
